HELLO!!

Out with my mum tdy to see Tales From The Dark Part 2!

Although part 1 was quite a disappointment, and since we had alrdy caught part 1, then i think we should let the movie continue~ hahaha.

I think part 2 was better than part 1! But.. still.. part 2 wasn't scary enough.. not scary at all actually. Only a few shocking scenes. But i kinda like the stories. so... i'll give 4/5 for the stories. If i would to take the genre(horror) seriously, then overall 3/5.

The Fly + Splinter

Caught this movie The Fly at a young age.. probably at my primary school days.
I remember i watched it on tv.. thank god, i caught it.. or else i would have missed such a good movie.

I also remember there was another show quite similar.. but i can't remember what is the title of it!! Fly man? or what.. argh.. i hope i'll find that movie soon!!

So i'll rate :
The Fly: 4.3/5: it's not really horror.. more like gross feeling.. hahaha.
Splinter: 3.5/5: because i think the story can be improved! Kinda low budget. Show too little of the "Monster". Also it reminds me of the movie ATM. Also same one.. people were stuck in a place, trying to find a way to escape. but overall i prefer ATM, haha.

Too long nvr take alrdy.. feeling damn stiff.. omg.

Ok la, at least we didn't drift after we graduated from secondary school! yayayay~

Caught That Girl in Pinafore in the evening. I think the show was ok.. but some scenes could be elongated. And the whole show wasn't touching enough.. the most you'll feel sad, and maybe your eyes would get a little watery.. but it was not to the extend that tears would keep rolling down. So overall, i'll rate it a 3.5/5.

R.I.P.D~ R.I.P.D~ I expected more from you lehhhhh :(. Quite disappointed with the movie.. the beginning was kinda boring.. which make me feel like.. sleeping (i don't know.. maybe it was because my eyes were tired? or was it the movie? i think it was the movie. lol.).. only after about 40 mins then the show became more exciting. Overall, i'll rate it a 3/5. Not a need to watch.

After the movie, shopped around.. and to whenever-we-meet-we-will-visit Sephora. hahaha! The cosmetics~! Heaven! Really nice if i can own all the brands. simply, beautiful~

That Girl in Pinafore (2013, Drama, Comedy)
Should you follow your heart or your head? That Girl in Pinafore is a coming-of-age tale set in 1993, Singapore, about dreams, friendships, and first loves. The story follows four teenagers' efforts to bring business back to a struggling folk music pub, and the blossoming love between Jiaming and May, both fans of Singaporean folk music. 1992 - Singapore is on the verge of electing its first President, and chewing gum has been banned. Hope and rejuvenation is in the air, everyone believes in the Singapore Dream. Young musicians strive to give birth to a local music industry, creating local music at a rapid pace. Music cafes spring up everywhere alongside the hot new trend, karaoke. Jiaming is a free spirited teenager who has never taken school seriously. His parents own a music pub called 'Meng Chuan', and Jiaming feels schooling is useless as he wants to help out at the business. True enough, Jiaming flunks his 'O' level exams and drops out of school. Jiaming's buddies Caogen, Haoban and Xiaopang pass their exams and move on to Junior College. But they are caught renting porn magazines by the principal and are suspended for a month. During this month, the boys take part in a local music competition, have a taste of first love, and work hard to bring business back to the struggling 'Meng Chuan'. This coming-of-age tale sees Jiaming and gang learn the harsh realities of pursuing dreams in the real world. In growing up, the boys learn that choosing between your heart and societal expectations is akin to losing your innocence to the adult world. The eventual closure of the pub 'Meng Chuan' paralells the real world demise of the 'Xinyao' movement around the mid-90s. It signifies the lost of youthful innocence to the necessities of growing up.

The Conjuring

HELLO!!!

Finally caught The Conjuring, ytd with my mum!! yeeeeeepyyyy!!
This movie is soooo damnnnnnn goooooodddd and i loveeeeee it!!

Love the feeling of this movie! The director IS TOOO BRILLIANT. WAHAHA. Of course, i am a huge fan of SAW the movie tooooooo! AND INSIDIOUS!! CAN'T WAIT FOR INSIDIOUS 2!! wahahahaha!! Super hyper right now. Whenever a horror movie turned out good, it make me feel happy. LOL.

I mean... there are so many horror movies.. and most turned out quite disappointing.. maybe because i expect too from it.. But right, sometimes some parts can make it even more shocking/scary.. and some.... way too predictable alrdy.. that's why.. haha..

Soo i will rate The Conjuring overall, 4.5/5. Very exciting.. and the ending.. touching. i like! Can actually be even more horror & add in more shocking parts. like play with the audience feeling.. (i.e the audience thought there will be something suddenly popping out, but no. then the next, it really. i don't know how to explain, but i hope some get it..... hahaha.) but ok la, i still like the way it is.

I really hope there will be sequel! And the sequel will show more on the doll.. bring it into a deeper story. hehe.

After the movie, had our dinner at Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert located at Tampines 1 basement.

First time trying our their foood.. not really nice lor.. expect more.

I had their Wanton Mee and Custard bun while mum had their Carrot Cake and Da Pau (Big Bun). I like the carrot cake. Wanton Mee... disappointed.. cause the mee got one taste.. like those times when you leave the mee for too long, it gives out a yucky taste. that taste lor. But their wanton not bad.. got prawn inside so i like.. wahahaha! The Da Pau so-so, not too bad lor. Custard bun.. must depends on my mood liao.. cause this one was like a bit dry, but the taste of the salted egg was quite strong.. so at times if i feel like eating stronger taste of the salted egg, then i'll get this. or else, nope.

Had a great day with mum! Tooo adorable liaoooooo wahahahahaha.

Pictures time!

Custard buns!

Carrot Cake!

Da Pau!

Wanton Mee!

And my beloved mum! She used 2 forks to see her pau~

Btw they have part 1 and 2.. and i'm hoping there will be another sequel!!

Rating:
Jeepers Creepers 1 - 4/5 (When i'm watching i will keep wondering what the hell do that freaking monster want.. disgusting weird looking creep.. eeek.)

Jeepers Creepers 2 - 4/5 (For this.. i'll ask the damn monster, can you just freaking die!!!!! How then the monster will really die.. and not just because its time is up..)

09 Aug 2013

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!

Soooo damn proud to be a Singaporean! Never in my life do i regret being born in this country!
Yes, at times i thought, even now, i feel that in Singapore, life is always in a rush.. time is so precious.. money is like the top priority in life. Even the happiness index in our country was ranked quite low.

However, still, at least Singapore brought us security (in terms of safety), and cleanliness, which i personally think these are really important to a country!! Fair enough, our employment rate is high :).. won't die. lol.

Maybe prices should really decrease la ok.. confirm, or high possibility our happiness index will zooooooom to a high rank! And people will be less stressful!! And not always worrying about MONEY MONEY MONEY PLEASE DROP..! blaaaaaaa.

So how was my day? GOOOD of course!

Get to meet up with my girls, ChenFeng and Liying for some shopping then ltr Fion joined us for a movie!
Others(6+1) are pretty busy.. working/schooling :(. Really difficult to meet up all together.. sigh.

ANYWAYSSS.. The Smurfs 2 was really niceeeeeeee! Compared to Smurfs 1, i think Smurfs 2 is more touching! Both are equally good la! GO WATCH IF YOU HAVEN'T OK. HAHAHA. I'll rate it a 4.8/5! WOOHOOO~
