16/05/2013: Dinner with mum at Nakhon Kitchen! My favourite place to go whenever i'm craving for thai food! Their Tom Yum soup! BEST. :D

18/05/2013: Out with my girls, ChenFeng, KaiQing and Liying! Had our dinner at Nabins (Hajin Lane area)!

The place is really comfy, very suitable for chilling. (i forgot to take a pic of how the place look like!! basically it's like a whole sofa with tables placed.)

Fruit Beer. (Mango+Tiger Beer). I don't like beer therefore, i don't really like this. To me it tasted like vomit. ahhhhh.

23/05/2013: Out with ChenFeng! And Caught Fast and Furious 6(will have a movie post soon!) tgt with LiYing! Woooohooooo~!

Early dinner at Lenas (Tampines 1)! First time trying it! I think their food is really not bad! yumyumyum!


I forgot what's the name of this.. but it's dory fish topped with cheese! really awesome! + baked potato and coleslaw!


Onions and Bacon with Black Pepper Sauce! Tasted really nice even though i don't like black pepper!
Their dish(some) can choose the sauces at your preference! Not bad uh! hahaha!


Complete our main course with a little wine. Red Wine(Left), White Wine(Right).


andddddd the dessert! Pancakes with bananas,chocolate chips and chocolate ice-cream! yummilicious!

29/05/2013: Jpo t(Tampines 1) with ChenFeng! Second time going there! Love the soups they offer!

ChenFeng bought the Jpot Groupon for $30(Worth $50), meaning you can order anything, and when billing, just pass them the printed receipt of the purchased groupon, and $50 will be deducted. Worth la!


We ordered, Soups(Tom Yum and Jpot Special), Combination of Mushroom, Pork(super yums), Chicken, Live Prawns, 2 Tofu with fish paste, Egg, Rice and Noodle. Total $60+ including gst and service charge!
Seems little, but it's really filling!

Sejong Korean Restaurant & Strictly Pancakes + Scary Movie 5!

Playing with some cute apps!
Went for Korean buffet at Sejong Restaurant located at Tiong Bahru Plaza with Helen the other day, for lunch. First time trying it, and i think their food were not bad! We went for their lunch buffet which cost us about $16 each, including gst and service charges.

However, to me there are not a lot of varieties. Okok, i shall state what they offer.. from what i rmb ok.. hmmmmm.. for beef there's only one kind which is the beef slice.. (i don't know if it's counted as slice or not. ltr i'll upload the pic so you can see for yourself ok? hahaha!). Then chicken also one kind only.. but i like! cause it's not like the breast meat. it's the thigh i guess? very smooth~ mmhmmm! then there are 3 kinds of pork.. i can't rmb. one is like bacon, the other is like one whole meat one.. a lot of fats. like shao rou, you know? whenever you go buy char siew rice/chicken rice they will have the shao rou one.. it's roasted pig. very very nice and faaatttteennnninnnnggg. and the last one is the pork slice. then there is sotong! yay! but...... kinda tasteless.. but nvm, i like the texture can alrdy. wahahaha! and of course Jap Chae! not bad leh! but i have eaten even nicer ones la.. hehee.

As for the soup they have seaweed soup and kimchi soup. and got fruits lor.. as dessert~

So in here there are Sotong, Bacon, Chicken, Pork Slice and Beef. (I'm feeling hungry!!)

Yeap, so that's about it. But if you go for the dinner buffet i think there will be more varieties.. and of course it's more expensive la.. hahaha. For me i think if it's those last min cravings, then you can just try theirs. Overall it's fine :).

So after lunch we went to the arcadeeeeee! hahahahahaha! it had been quite some time since i last visited the arcades. and soooooo the first thing i would want to play would be (whatever it's called).. i call it the spam spam machine (refer to the pic if you don't know which i'm saying.). Too fun alrdy!

Caught Scary Movie 5 for the day. Not bad! It's funny! If you have seen all the actual movies in the scary movie 5, it will be much more hilarious! hahaha! I rate it 3.5/5.

Movies that are involve in this movie were (from what i know ah.. like the show i watch one. if you want to know the exact ones you can go google about it.) : Paranormal Activity, MAMA, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Black Swan, Inception, Cabin in the Woods and Evil Dead.





Scary Movie 5 (2013, Comedy, Horror)
In Scary Movie 5, happily married couple Dan and Jody begin to notice some bizarre activity once they bring their newborn baby Aiden home from the hospital. But when the chaos expands into Jody's job as a ballet dancer and Dan's career as an Ape researcher, they realize they're family is being stalked by a nefarious demon. Together, with the advice of certified experts and the aid of numerous cameras, they must figure out how to get rid of it before it's too late.

Ended ourselves at Strictly Pancakes! Our dinner! Again, first time trying it. I've seen so many ppl posting the pictures of the pancakes, looking absolutely mouthwatering.. wooohooo~ so we finally tried it! I ordered the errr.. i can't rmb what's the name of it T.T my memory is super bad.. argh. Something Garlic Prawn one.. very yummy! i loveeeeee the sauce! hehehehe! and Helen ordered the Strawberries & co. i think. it's nice too! the sauce is very sweeeeeet! (i can't really take sweet stuff.. that's why i find it too sweet for me.). but because it comes with the berries(sour) it therefore neutralised (i don't even know if it's a correct word to use, but you get what i mean la right? hahaha!) the sweetness and sourness of it. ^^

I would say it's worth trying!

Party World Karaoke & Soup Spoon

Met up with Helen last week, 6th May! It's been really quite some time since we last saw each other! The last time we met was actually about a month ago? Really glad that we're still contacting each other even after we graduated!

Went to Party World KTV at Vivo City. First time leh. wahahaha! The place was not bad, but they don't have all the latest songs lor. But ok la, anyway i'm super outdated, i don't update myself one. Even now i'm still listening to those outdated songs, and i really like it leh. hahahaha!

So after that we went to see a movie! Ohyeah! I just love watching movies! I don't mind spending the whole day just by watching movies! i LOVE it lovelovelovelove it. wahahahaha! Ohohoh, we caught Identity Thief! This show is super hilarious! Freaking love it! Must watch ok! The show is funny yet touching. Sexy? erm... a little maybe.. hahaha! I'll rate it a 4.5/5! woohooo! High rating leh! go watch ok! hehehehe.

Had Soup Spoon for dinner! Also first time trying! I kinda like it, cause it makes me feel healthy? hahaha!

I ordered Clam Chowder.. not bad. but i prefer LJS and Mos Burger one. HAHAHA!

Seeing my mum being happy is one of the most blessed moment ever. But everyone ages, and as years passed, mum is aging.. her winkles, grey hair.. sights of aging.. are so obvious.. it's heart aching to see these. I hate it. I don't want her to age.. i want her to live forever young! But i know... humans have to go one day.. but no, i don't want her to ever be gone. Please.

Drug War, Iron Man 3 & May(2002)

Caught three movies recently. Two of it at the theaters while the other one online.
So here's my review for these movies! :D

Drug War: So for this show i would rate 3.5/5. Hmmm, the story is not bad. But kinda complicated to me. At some parts i'll be like confused. However, in the end it turn out quite.. hmmm, how should i put it. Kinda like a twist? hehe.

Iron Man 3: Definitely i would say it's AWESOME. Love itttttttt! hahahahaha! It's a MUST WATCH ok! Rate: 4.5/5.

May(2002); Well, to be honest, it really bored me out at the starting. Very draggy... and i'm like "can faster go to the thrilling/gross part?".

I like the story but if the movie is improvised, definitely i will like it more! For story wise i'll rate it 4/5. But in whole, only 2.8/5.

Drug War (2013, Thriller)
When Mainland Chinese Inspector Zhang runs into the Hong Kong man Cai at the hospital, who has been in a car accident due to chemical poisoning, he immediately senses something fishy about him. It turns out Cai is indeed a drug manufacturer closely linked to the notorious drug lord Li.

May(2002) (Horror, Thriller)
When May was a child, she was a lonely girl with a lazy eye and without any friends except a weird and ugly doll kept in a glass case given by her bizarre mother on her birthday. May becomes a lonely, weird young woman, working in an animal hospital and assisting the veterinarian in surgeries and sewing operated animals most of the time. Her lesbian colleague Polly has a sort of attraction for her. When the shy May meets the mechanic Adam Stubbs, she loves his hands and has a crush on him. They date, but the weirdness and bizarre behavior of May pushes Adam away from her. Alone, May has a brief affair with Polly, but she feels rejected again when her colleague meets Ambrosia. When her doll is accidentally broken, the deranged May decides to build a friend for her, using the best parts her acquaintances can offer.

Hyun Bin visit Singapore! + Long Weekend (Movie)

Hey guys!

26/04/13 was when Hyun Bin came to Singapore for his open conferencing!! *Screams*!! This was so exciting!! It was held at Bugis+, 6pm (luckily! because if it was at the west side i wouldn't have gone.), so Jiale and I went to "see see", hehehehehe!



He's so cuteeeeeeeeee and freaking charmingggggggg! When he appear, we're like sooooooo excited and happy to see him! Omg! First time ever in my life i can see how he looked in real life! ahhhhh! Too good to be true! BUT sadly, i forgot to bring my specs! blooooooooodehhhh hell.. so too bad la, i can't really see him clearly -.- T.T, but still it's alright! Jiale said he look exactly like how he was on tv. hehehee!

I still can't stop thinking about him! HAHAHAHA! Really damn charming laaaa, i really have to emphasis this word. CHARMING. And his smile (tgt with the dimples!!)~ ahhhhh, *heart melts*.. But of course, it's not totally about his looks that make me idolize him. It's his acting! Every show he acted was really good! It's like he is totally into that character that was given to him.

Hahahahaha! okok, i have to stop thinking/talking about him~ reallyyyyy.. hahaha!

So anw, before this open conference started, we went for a movie, Long Weekend. This movie is really good! We love it! Didn't expect to be this good, hehe! Rating: 3.7/5

Long Weekend (2013, Horror, Thriller)
A group of teenagers goes on trip to an isolated island, where there was an old ceremony on Friday the 13th called "The Night of Devouring Ghosts", which is when all the ghosts will come out for offerings. They use this chance to play a prank on Thongsook, a nerdy strange guy who they want to get rid of. They lock him up inside a cabinet in the old shrine on the island. But the joke isn't funny anymore when they come back to find Thongsook has disappeared from the locked cabinet and all hell starts to break loose.

Underarms IPL Treatment (Part 1)

Hey guys! Actually I have nothing to post but just feel like posting.. i don't know why. wahahahaha! I guess i'm too bored? Nah.. i'm not! i feel occupied! but i don't know what's occupying me. LOL.

Anyway, i'm gonna be doing underarms(armpit) IPL soon! OHYEAH! Will be heading down for consultation tmr, and to sign up the package. Then to book an appointment for the treatment! Can't wait to see the results!

Ohyes. My IPL treatment will be done by MUSEE at Bugis+. (Feel free to visit their website as they have other outlets too!) Why did i choose them? Because my sis's friend recommended my sis, and my sis recommended me lor. hahahaha! No la, not just that. I did some reviews search, and most gave pretty good reviews. And of course, my sis did her IPL treatment there, and she did say their service is really good! 

Furthermore, after her second treatment, results are showing! (Note: Different people will have different results, it depends on your body. So i can't ensure you that your result will be like my sis's.)

In case you guys are wondering what does IPL hair removal do. It is to remove unwanted hair permanently. PERMANENTLY leh! (However, some claims that it only reduce the hair growth. And thinning the hair. I guess it depends on your skin type/or the no. of sessions you did.) You don't have to shave/pluck/wax alrdy lehhhh!

Girls especially would love to have hairless skin right? Who would like if your arms, legs and everywhere are covered with unwanted hair?! It definitely affects your self-esteem greatly laaaa!


You want people to see your "beautiful" hairy armpits meh? GET RID OF IT.
Of course, there are many ways in removing unwanted hair. Eg, Shaving, Plucking, using Epilator, Waxing.. but all of these don't last long and worst, it hurts! and when the hair grows, it's so eeeew. it becomes thicker, and feels pricky. Also, it damages your skin!

Hence hence hence, IPL hair removal treatment is here for you! haha! However, if you're afraid that the results may not be as what you're expecting, you can first try it at your underarms (as it is only a small portion, and doesn't cost tooooo much) as it's also the most necessary bunch of hair to get rid of (!girls!). So yeah! Good luck!

Dark Skies & Don't Cry, Mommy

Went for movies with my mom at Century Square this afternoon. Caught both Dark Skies and Don't Cry, Mommy.


Hmmmmm, both shows were not bad. But i would prefer 'Don't Cry, Mommy' to 'Dark Skies' even though both are in different genre.

Probably because i expected more for 'Dark Skies' as it's the producer of 'Insidious' and 'Paranormal Activity' which both shows i really loveeeeeeee. But still, overall it was not too bad la. hahaha!

So for the ratings. I'll give Dark Skies 3/5 (because it's kinda draggy.. and the story is like only so-so for me.) and 3.5/5 for Don't Cry, Mommy. (I'll give a 4/5 if the victim's mum 'punish' them in a more brutally manner! muahaha! i sounded really sick, but it's true lor! you go watch it.. and the bastards really deserve to get punished severely one!)

New Start. Happy 2013!

It's been really long since I last blogged. The last post was on the 27 September 2011! About one and a half years ago! So apparently, I’m too lazy to blog.. or to say, I’ve lose interest in blogging. However, now that I’ve finally graduated (not really graduated yet. Still waiting for my results), and still not planning to get a full time job yet; having plenty of time for myself.. I’ve decided to start blogging again! Ehh, Ok.. I’ll try la.. not 100% guarantee, haha!

A Sad Story

I know this is a long story, but i wish that everyone of you would spend a little time to read this meaningful story.

"On the last day before Christmas, I hurried to go to the supermarket to buy the remaining of the gifts I didn't manage to buy earlier. When I saw all the people there, I started to complain to myself :

'It is going to take forever here and I still have so many other places to go... Christmas really is getting more and more annoying every year. How I wish I could just lie down, go to sleep and only wake up after it...'

Nonetheless, I made my way to the toy section, and there I started to curse the prices, wondering if after all kids really play with such expensive toys.

While looking in the toy section, I noticed a small boy of about 5 years old, pressing a doll against his chest. He kept on touching the hair of the doll and looked so sad. I wondered who was this doll for. Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him :

'Granny, are you sure I don't have enough money?'
'You know that you don't have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.' the old lady replied.

Then she asked him to stay here for 5 minutes while she went to look around. She left quickly. The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand. Finally, I started to walk toward him and I asked him who did he want to give this doll to.

'It is the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for this Christmas. She was so sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her.'

I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus will bring it to her, after all, and not to worry. But he replied to me sadly :

'No, Santa Claus can not bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mother so that she can give it to her when she goes there.'

His eyes were so sad while saying this. 'My sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy will also go to see God very soon, so I thought that she could bring the doll with her to give it to my sister.'

My heart nearly stopped. The little boy looked up at me and said :

'I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I asked him to wait until I came back from the store.'

Then he showed me a very nice photo of himself, where he was laughing. He then told me :

'I also want mommy to take this photo with her so that she will not forget me. I love my mommy and I wish she didn't have to leave me but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister.'

Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly. I quickly reached for my wallet and took a few notes and said to the boy, 'What if we checked again, just in case you have enough money?' 'Ok' he said. 'I hope that I have enough.'

I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll, and even some spare money.

The little boy said :

'Thank you God for giving me enough money.' Then he looked at me and added, 'I asked yesterday before I slept for God to make sure I have enough money to buy this doll so that mommy can give it to my sister. He heard me.' 'I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn't dare to ask God too much. But he gave me enough to buy the doll and the white rose.' 'You know, my mommy loves white roses.'

A few minutes later, the old lady came again and I left.

I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started. I couldn't get the little boy out of my mind. Then I remembered a local newspaper article 2 days ago, which mentioned of a drunk man in a truck who hit a car where there was one young lady and a little girl. The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-assisting machine, because the young lady would not be able to come out of the coma that she was in. Was this the family of the little boy?

Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the newspaper that the young lady had passed away. I couldn't stop myself and went to buy a bunch of white roses and I went to the mortuary where the body of the young woman was exposed for people to see and make a last wish before burial. She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest. I left the place crying, feeling that my life had been changed forever.
